The Brief
This project presented a unique technical challenge: a sympathetic extension incorporating non-true arches and a fully circular window, all requiring precise fabrication to ensure perfect alignment with the existing building fabric. The installer needed flush sash windows that could follow complex curves while maintaining crisp sightlines, consistent detailing, and a traditional aesthetic.

The Challenge
Unlike standard arched frames, the openings in this extension were not true or symmetrical. Each curve varied subtly, requiring careful surveying, close coordination with the fabricator, and absolute confidence in the system’s ability to accommodate bespoke shaping.
The fully circular window was particularly demanding — a statement feature that left no margin for error. Matching this perfectly with the surrounding flush casements, both in profile depth and sightline, was essential to achieve a cohesive result.
